Koa is a celebration of the Hawaiian spirit of connection and care. We cultivate wild, native botanicals to create products that, through practicing care, reconnect us to ourselves and the natural world.
The Hawaiian Islands are home to an amazing array of unique plants. It is estimated that there are 1,400 plants native to Hawaii, 90 percent of which are found nowhere else in the world.
Hawaiians have cultivated these rarest of plants for centuries, using them for healing and to support healthy, active lifestyles. We lean on the past to innovate for the future by bringing these powerful ingredients together in new and highly effective ways.
Living Pono
To live pono is to be in a state of harmony with oneself, others, and the world.
In the Hawaiian language, pono means righteousness and balance. To live pono is to be in a state of harmony with oneself, others, and the world.
We built and operate Koa with pono everyday. We only select ingredients, materials and partners that help us better care for ourselves, our communities and the world around us.
We use recycled and recyclable materials in all of our products, including 100% FSC-certified paper, aluminum and post-consumer resins. We additionally donate 1% of our proceeds towards preserving our precious oceans.
